Gray Duck Goose!

Local Pride at the Great Minnesota Get Together

For 10 years now, Sarah Sweet and Angela Lessman have been helping crafters showcase their wears. The two met through their, now husbands and quickly formed a partnership. Together they created the I Like You, Small things for a prettier life shop. And their stuff is just that. Currently, they have helped give over $3 million dollars back to the community through their retail operation in Minneapolis. They sell local and independent items through consignment. All of their merchandise has some type of Minnesota flair to them. At the fair this year, they will be selling a sampling of their different products, including their T-Shirts. My favorite ones have to be the ‘Grey Duck’ and ‘Goose’ shirt. Don’t worry about them running out because they have dedicated print shops ready replenish their stock each day. GrayDuckGooseYou will find them in the West End Marketplace. Make sure to bring your Blue Ribbon Coupon book too, because they are offering $6 off their awesome T-Shirts, Tank or Onesies. Or you can buy two T-Shirts and get the Third Free! Coupon books cost $5 and can be purchased at any of the Merchandise booths at the fair or at your Cub Foods. Need Admission to the Fair? Are you wondering how to get tickets? You can purchase discounted admission tickets, and Blue Ribbon Bargain Books (while supplies last) via the online ticket office or at your local Cub Foods before the start of the fair. After that, you can purchase tickets directly at the fair gates. From a seasoned veteran, I highly recommend purchasing them before hand to avoid the lines. For DayTripper fans, I have a special offer just for you. I am giving away a State Fair prize package sponsored by the Minnesota State Fair. The package includes:
  • 2 Tickets to See Bonnie Raitt play in the Grandstand September 5th
  • 2 General Admission Tickets to the State Fair
  • 1 Blue Ribbon Bargain Book
