The Best Corn Mazes in the Twin Cities.

Fall Fun in Minnesota: Twin Cities Harvest Festival Corn Maze Guide

There is something about a pit of corn that screams Fall to me. Maybe it’s the way the kernels feel between your fingers or when you jump in you immediately start to wonder if you will ever stop sinking.

It may be the fact that you can bury yourself in it next to a bunch of other fun-loving adults and children alike and there are no judgments. For me, this is one of the best feelings in the world. It is also why I love getting to go to the Twin Cities Harvest Festival.

Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Corn Maze

You can find this pit at the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Corn Maze in Brooklyn Park. Just North of the Twin Cities you will find just over 20 acres of farmland transformed into an amazing fall festival celebration.

Mr. Bouwman and his family decided to utilize part of their farm to create this magical place and it has soon become a staple in the community.

Corn Maze

We had a lot of fun checking out the corn maze. In recent years, I have actually felt lost in a Twin Cities corn maze.

Usually, I let the kids start picking the direction and we try and wander our way out after that. They did a great job. We were successfully LOST.

It wasn’t until about 15 minutes in when we found the first marker that we realized how lost we were. The map had a star identified for each marker in the maze, but there was no way of knowing what star we were at on the map.

We had to do things the old-fashioned way and look at the shapes of the maze to try and get our bearings. I think next time I will bring a compass with me.

Each trail marker held some type of Vikings-related trivia question. If you used your map clues and answered the trivia question correctly, you would be entered to win 1 of 5 $100 visa gift cards. If anyone is wondering what the answer is, I believe it is “a be flip mktg hdqrs conj”.

OK… seeing as though I only made it to about 5 of the different markers, I’m not the person to ask.

The only pro sports I’ve ever followed is Baseball which is why I can tell you how to get the best Deals on Food and Ticket at Target Field. The few letters I did select were pure guesses.

They also had a much easier word scramble game on the boards for the kids.

Each year the Twin Cities Harvest Festival teams up with a different organization to help inspire their maze design. In addition to the design, a portion of each ticket sold will go towards a charity. Over the years, they have raised significant funds for these charities.

Each year, a portion of the ticket sales will go towards a local charity, such as youth and community programs.

Included with Admission – Pumpkin Patch and More

Included with admission are both the Corn and Straw Bale Mazes, Corn Pit, Hayride, and Music. They also have a gunny sack slide, walk on water and if you want you can even launch a pumpkin 150 yards for an additional fee. They have a pumpkin patch selling pumpkins right on site.

One thing that I was disappointed in, there did seem to be a number of ‘Pay’ things right up front. The kids were asking non-stop to do some of the other activities. Thankfully we were able to direct them away.

If you are in the northern part of the Twin Cities and are looking for a maze that will get you thoroughly lost this fall, I would recommend the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Corn Maze.
