Mini golf is a great way to spend the afternoon outside and enjoy the weather, especially in the summertime. As the weather gets warmer at the end of the year, it can be a challenge to find a fun activity to enjoy.
So, I decided to compile a list of the best mini golf courses in Minnesota. There are a lot of great courses out there that are just waiting to be explored. Grab the kids, your spouse or even a girlfriend, and let’s enjoy the season.
Best Mini Golf in Minnesota
Moose Mountain Adventure Golf – MOA
Location: 376 North Garden, Bloomington, MN 55425
18-hole mini-golf located inside the MOA. Designed for Family Adventure! Inside you’ll find a north woods-themed course with borders and even a life-size moose and horses.
The whole course overlooks Nickelodeon Universe. I have done this mini golf course in Bloomington multiple times. So much fun!
Admission: $11.99 each or a family for some for $38.99. Bundle it with Moose Mountain for $19.99 per person.
Rock of Ages – MOA
Location: 336 E Broadway, Bloomington, MN 55425
This fun 18-hole golf course is under black lights. Every hole represents a difference in eras of Music, starting in the ’50s through the present day. The course is guaranteed to challenge everyone. Located on the MOA’s third floor.
Admission: $11.99 each or a family for some for $38.99. Bundle it with Moose Mountain for $19.99 per person.

Big Stone Golf
Location: 7110 County Rd 110 Ext W, Minnetrista, MN 55364
This course is like no other. This fun 14-hole golf course is unforgettable. Each hole is surrounded by beautiful sculptures that will trick up even the best golfers out there. When you are done, check out the animals and other sculptures around the property.
Admission: $12 for adults, $10 for 8 and under. This is a cash or check-only establishment.
Adventure Falls
Location: 572 Bench Street, Taylors Falls, MN 55084
18-hole mini-golf sitting behind the Drive-in in Taylors Falls. This is a favorite for kids, as you usually get a free round or two for one special with a kids meal purchase.
The course is tucked into the shade, filled in with ponds, streams, and waterfalls. One of the best mini golf in Minnesota.
Admission: 6.50 for adults, $5.50 for ages 12 and under.

Como Park
Location: 1431 Lexington Pkwy N, St Paul, MN 55103
Como 18 Hole Golf Course sits behind the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory. The course is a par 70. Unlike many of the other miniature golf courses on the list, this is similar to a traditional course, just shrunk.
With rolling greens, water hazards, and elevation changes, it creates a subtle challenge.
Admission: $18 online special for 9 holes, or $33 normally.
Lark Toys
Location: 63604 170th Ave, Kellogg, MN 55945
Lark Toys is more than just a toy store. They’ve created a full experience with their indoor carousel and outdoor 18-hole mini-golf course. With a play-through mountain, waterfalls, ponds, streams, and even a great view of the bluffs. This is a kid’s favorite course.
Admission: $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, 3 and under are free.
Centennial Lakes
Location: 7499 France Ave S, Edina, MN 55435
Dubbed actual golf, but on a miniature course. The 18-0hole course has greens ranging in length from 57 to 125 feet. Surrounded by the beautiful Centennial Lakes park and office buildings, it’s a fun course to explore. Due to its difficulty, it’s recommended for 8+.
Admission: $10 per person for 18 holes or $6 per person for 9.
During wintertime, Centennial Lakes turns into a magical ice skating rink. You have to check it out!
Grand Slam
Location: 12425 River Ridge Blvd, Burnsville, MN 55337
This indoor 18 -hole mini golf course is pirate-themed. This fun golf course is one your kids will enjoy. Located inside Grand Slam with trampolines laser tag, a play zone, and more.
The golf course is a great way to slow down from the craziness inside. The course is filled with a great balance of obstacles and entertainment. Everyone will have fun!
Admission: Golf cost $5.95. You can also bundle up golf into other attractions, starting at $12.95.
Can Can Wonderland
Location: 755 Prior Ave N Suite #004, St Paul, MN 55104
When artists get the opportunity to build, this is what you get. These 18 holes are anything but normal. Located underneath a brewery, this course has great drinks, snacks a stage, and even vintage pinball machines.
If you are looking for a unique mini golf in Minnesota, this is it!

Victoria Burrow
Location: 7999 Victoria Dr, Victoria, MN 55386
Looking for a realistic indoor golf course? Check out the Victoria Burrow. In addition to the drinks and ax throwing, there is also an 18-hole course inside.
Complete with rocks, pine trees, and sand traps. This is a fun night out. This is a great place for adult mini golf in Minnesota.
Admission: $12 per person. While kids are allowed, it’s more for adults.
Skyline Mini Golf – Walker Art Center
Location: 725 Vineland Pl, Minneapolis, MN 55403
Sitting on the roof of the Walk Art Center, this fun golf course is artist inspired ten-hole course. In addition to the fun of golf, you’ll also get one of the best views of Minneapolis.
Afterward, check out the free sculpture garden with favorites like the cherry and the spoon and the blue rooster!
Admission: $10 ($8 Walker members and ages 7–18)
The Walk Art Center has an amazing Sculpture Garden out front. Make sure to plan an extra 30 minutes to explore it for yourself.
Betty Dangers Country Club
Location: 2501 Marshall St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418
Adults looking for a fun night out have to check out Betty Dangers Country Club. In addition to the great food and drinks, they also have a ‘Ferriss Wheel’ and a Putt-N-Play golf courses.
Complete with plastic animals and guests you’ll be putting around. They call themselves “the only golf courses defending political satire for sport and amusement… and equality!”
Because of the setting, this is an adults-only course, with a height restriction of 46″.
Admission: $6.95 They are a bar/restaurant that has these fun amenities, therefore you must make a beverage or food purchase when you purchase your activity.
Captains Course a Cascade Bay
Location: 1360 Civic Center Dr, Eagan, MN 55122
This nine-hole miniature golf course is a cute city course attached to the waterpark. With traditional greens and a stream running through it. On non-busy days you can purchase a standalone ticket.
It is the biggest bargain of all the courses in Minnesota.
Admission: $2 per round, $4 per person for an unlimited mini-golf pass
Eagle Lake Youth Golf Center
Location: 11000 Bass Lake Rd, Plymouth, MN 55442
Sitting on two old farmsteads this golf course is youth-oriented. It’s a great place for beginner golfers to learn. In addition to its two nine-hole golf courses, there is also an 18-hole miniature golf course.
Perfect for perfecting your putting game.
Admission: $7 for adults, $6 for kids. A second round is only $3
Wheel Fun
6335 Portland Ave, Richfield, MN 55423
Location: This 18-hole mini-golf course balances out the right mix of playfulness and challenge. The holes are surrounded by gardens and beautiful landscaping.
When you are done golfing, head inside and get a snack at the malt shop!

K&A Mini Golf
Location: 215 Opportunity Blvd N, Cambridge, MN 55008
K&A mini golf is 18-holes of fun. With Wheelchair accessible course, Water Wars, an Arcade, a Party Room, and concessions you’ll have tons of fun.
The course reminds me of a quintessential roadside stop with a little bit of everything. The course is outdoors and fairly flat.
Admission: $8.50, kids 5 and under $6

Green Lagoon
Location: 8640 Green Lake Trail, Chisago City, MN 55013
If you like putting through things, Green Lagoon is for you. While it may seem like a simple course, the obstacles will trip up even the best golfer. In addition to mini-golf, they also have a driving range and ice cream shop!
Admission: $5 per person, or $60 for the season
Midwest Golf Dome Mini Golf
Location: 1815 Van Dyke St, Maplewood, MN 55109
Located behind the dome, these 18 holes is a lot of fun. The family-friendly golf course has a snack bar to enjoy afterward. Otherwise, head inside the dome and enjoy the temperature-controlled driving range.
Admission: $10 for adults, kids under 14 are $5
Lilli Putt Miniature Golf
Location: 1349 Coon Rapids Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433
Little Putt is a family entertainment center. With Go Karts, Junior Karts, and Bumper Boats, the kids will have a great time. The golf course has a medieval theme, making guests walk through a castle to enter.
There is a good balance of obstacles and whimsical fun.
Admission: $9 for adults, $7 for kids 4-11 and under three are free with adults. You can also bundle golf with rides for more discounts.
The Links at Dred Scott
Location: 10820 Bloomington Ferry Rd, Minneapolis, MN 55438
The sun is always shining at Dred Scott, or so they say. This 18-hole mini-golf course features various waterfalls, rocks, trees, and other obstacles. It’s a par 48 course making it a little challenging. That won’t stop your fun!
Admission: $10 for adults, $8 for children 12 and under or seniors 62 and older.
Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf

Pirates’ Cove Adventure Golf takes the theme to a whole new level. Even allowing you to put on a pirate ship. 18th-century pirates are hiding everywhere, including carousing buccaneers, skull-shaped caves, sunken ships, cascading waterfalls, and dreaded pirate dungeons.
Putt your way through a mountain cave, over footbridges, across a pirate ship, and under mystic waterfalls. This is a fun course with great challenges, in the heart of Brainerd.
There are two courses each with a different challenge level. The kids are still talking about this mini golf location!

Wildwedge Golf in Pequot Lakes
Location: 32792 Paul Bunyan Trail Drive, Pequot Lakes, MN 56472
Rated one of the best miniature golf courses in Minnesota by Minnesota Monthly, this mini-golf course is lighted on Memorial Day through Labor Day. They make it challenging to get your money’s worth.
With a tranquil waterfall and a changing landscape. You’ll understand why everyone loves it. In addition to the golf course, they also have a maze, with 1/3 mile of pathways.
Admission: $8.95. Kids under 4 play free as well as adults over 94.
Falls Stay-n-Play Mini Golf
Location: 17141 US-59, Thief River Falls, MN 56701
This fun 18-hole mini-golf course is a great pit stop in North-Western MN. Located at an RV campground, they have plenty to keep both locals and out-of-towners happy.
In addition to the beautiful mini gift, they also have go-carts and an arcade.
Admission: $5. Under 2, $2
Bison Creek Mini Golf
Location: 1207 Highway 25 North, Buffalo, MN 55313
18-holes of challenging mini-golf. With pathways under waterfalls, tunnels, and other obstacles. Just outside of the city this is a great mini golf location.
Admission: $8 for adults, $6 for kids 12 and under.

Tips for a fun time at a Mini-Golf Course?
Know your group. Are you super competitive, or will it cause a fight? In our house, we learned not to keep score. It’s a no-win situation when you do.
Be prepared for the sun. Most courses have little cover. Consider going later in the day, or bringing plenty of sunscreens. If you want to skip the chemicals, wear a sun shirt! I’m in love with them. Also, consider bringing a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
Go early or late in the day. I love being the first to the course, just so we don’t have to wait on people.
If you are going with someone really young, under three, consider not paying around for yourself. Chances are you’ll just be messing around trying to hold your club plus helping someone else put.
