DayTripper is a Minnesota travel blog that doesn’t believe a vacation should cost a lot of money. You just need a sense of adventure and maybe a tank of gas!
Meet Jenn
My name is Jenn and I used to hate being stuck at home, living through other people’s Instagram feeds. That all changed when I started traveling over 8 years ago. But let me tell you, traveling doesn’t always have to involve expensive flights and exotic destinations.
I’ve learned that adventure can be found right in your own backyard. Whether it’s exploring a nearby hiking trail or trying out a new restaurant in town, there’s always something to discover. And I’ve found that having a vacation mindset can make all the difference in how much you enjoy your time off.
For me, there’s nothing quite like being out in nature and feeling the peace and tranquility it brings. I enjoy escaping from the busy and noisy daily life to appreciate the beauty of the world.
But I also enjoy exploring new places and taking in all the sights, sounds, and flavors of different cities. There’s something thrilling about immersing yourself in a new culture and experiencing everything it has to offer. There’s always something new to discover, whether it’s trying new foods, visiting museums, or simply exploring.
The Support Team
Behind every adventure is a dedicated team – my incredible family. They used to just participate, but now they also contribute as photographers, videographers, models, and more.
My husband, Jim, is the core of this support system. His constant encouragement has been the motivation for many adventures. He’s behind the wheel most of the time and is the first one to turn off the highway and follow a random road sign.
Our two wonderful children have also embraced the spirit of exploration. My youngest began his adventures in a car seat. They are always willing to get up at 6am on the weekends to see something crazy.
I couldn’t do the blog without them, and share all of these great destinations with my readers.
