Jenn Day Tripping MN

Do you love to travel? Are you one that wants to see the world but never has the cash? I understand. I used to be one of you. But I decided to change all that.

I found a way to get my travel fix on mini-trips. Now, I’m off doing Day Trips from Minneapolis most weekends.

My name is Jenn. I’m a full-time, wife, mom of two kids, wife, dog mom, nature enthusiast, and adventure seeker. I’m also an armature photographer, DIYer, and Halloween enthusiast.

My life during the week is pretty average but on the weekends, that’s when things get crazy. My family and I usually hop in our car and checking out a new part of the state.

We only spend the day there, but we have an amazing time. This lifestyle has filled my adventurous spirit. Those that follow my blog tend to get into the spirit too.

How it all started

As a child, I jet-setted with my family all over the country, a perk of having my Dad working for a major airline. My dream was to share that lifestyle with my children. I soon found out that I didn’t have the funds to make that lifestyle happen. Or the time off for that matter.

It was crushing. I was living my life precariously through other people’s Facebook pages. My friends were living the life I wanted to live.

That was until I decide to change all that. No, it didn’t mean I would be working more hours so I could afford to fly around the country. I would just explore more in my own backyard!

Staying local, I was able to explore a lot of the same things that I remember doing in those other states. Day Tripping had now become a new way of life for me, and I am loving it. Sure, I get out of the state once a year, but my love has always been Minnesota.

I’m looking forward to sharing our adventures with you and hopefully get you into it too! All anyone needs is a tank of gas, some friends, and one day and you are all set for an amazing adventure!
