Local Pride at the Great Minnesota Get Together
For nearly 20 years now, Sarah Sweet and Angela Lessman have been helping crafters showcase their wares. The two met through their now-husbands and quickly formed a partnership. Together they created the I Like You, Small things for a prettier life shop. And their stuff is just that. Currently, they have helped give over $3 million dollars back to the community through their retail operation in Minneapolis.
They sell local and independent items through consignment. All of their merchandise has some type of Minnesota flair to them. At the fair, they offer a sampling of their different products, including their T-Shirts. My favorite ones have to be the ‘Grey Duck’ and ‘Goose’ shirt. Don’t worry about them running out because they have dedicated print shops ready replenish their stock each day.

Need Admission to the Fair?
Are you wondering how to get tickets? You can purchase discounted admission tickets via the official Minnesota State Fair website or at local retailers like Cub Foods before the start of the fair. After that, you can purchase tickets directly at the fair gates. From a seasoned veteran, I highly recommend purchasing them beforehand to avoid the lines.
