Kicking Things Off With The Temptations!

The season starts off strong in October with “Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations” (Oct 8-13, 2024). Can you hear those iconic Motown harmonies already?

This musical, which won a Tony award, tells the story of The Temptations’ rise to fame from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. You’ll be tapping your toes to hits like “My Girl” and “Just My Imagination” all night long.

A Disney Favorite for the Holidays

Then the holiday season really gets magical when Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” (Dec 3-29, 2024) comes to the Ordway stage!

Yup, get ready to take an underwater adventure with Ariel and her friends, complete with Alan Menken’s instantly recognizable score. This is the perfect way to create new family theater memories.

The Buzzworthy “Dear Evan Hansen”

Continuing in March 2025, the powerful and relevant “Dear Evan Hansen” (March 11-16) makes its Ordway debut.

This Tony-winning Best Musical tackles important issues like mental health, social media, and feeling adrift as a teen. With a phenomenal score by Pasek & Paul, it’s sure to pull on your heartstrings.

The Quintessential 2000s Teen Comedy…Now A Musical!

Speaking of high school, the iconic 2004 film “Mean Girls” gets the musical treatment from April 8-13, 2025!

Tina Fey’s razor-sharp satire about the vicious clique politics of teenage girls is just as relevant (and hilarious) as ever in this stage adaptation.

A Minnesota Premiere To Close The Season

Finally, the season wraps up in June 2025 with the Minnesota premiere of “Mystic Pizza” (June 3-8).

This new musical is based on the 1988 coming-of-age flick that launched Julia Roberts’ career about three young ladies working at a pizza joint in Mystic, Connecticut. I’m already craving a slice just thinking about it!

As Ordway President and CEO Chris Harrington said: “Each musical this season tells a different tale of love, hope in the face of adversity and self-discovery.” They really run the full emotional gamut!

Ordway subscribers can get their full 5-show package starting at just $195, which is such a steal. Those go on sale now, while individual show tickets hit the box office this spring.

Trust me, you’re not going to want to miss this topnotch theater lineup hitting the Ordway next season. It’s an all-killer, no-filler situation! Who’s ready to snag their seats?
