Ever since I watched Happy Gilmore refine his short game in a crazy miniature golf course, I’ve been searching for a course that came close to the level of fun Happy had. Sure, there are tons of miniature golf courses around, but most remind me of traditional boring full-size golf courses. I wanted to find something magnificent and yet whimsical. That is why I was thrilled to find Can Can Wonderland mini golf course.
This post was sponsored by the City of Roseville. As always the opinions are all my own.
Can Can Wonderland
Can Can Wonderland had one mission, to create a one of a kind artist inspired environment for every age. They exceeded any expectations I had the second I walked in. They are hidden in some dingy looking basement of an old Canning Factory. At least that is what they made you think walking in. But once downstairs it was like entering a whole other world. Everywhere I looked my eyes were being pulled into some other exciting activity.
Their golf course has 18 holes, each designed by different artists. With names like Music Mountain, Natural Disaster, and Blue Toad, you know they are going to be incredible. The holes struck the right balance between a challenge and traditional elements. Some of my favorite holes were Grand Slam, Grandma’s Living Room, The Mini Golf Hole Formerly Known and the World Longest Hole. It was designed to be the longest one but someone beat them to it during production. They do hold the record for the best indoor mini golf in MN! Ok, I’m a little biased on that one.
Classic Pinball Arcade
What’s amazing about Can Can Wonderland, is that golf is only a small part of the experience. Lining the side of the course is a collection of vintage pinball machines. There are over 20 new and vintage games available to play. Make sure you bring some quarters with you because you could spend hours there.
The Main Stage
Can Can Wonderland has two different stages where the local artist will perform most nights. Their most popular event is their Variety Show. 21+ event. It’s every Thursday Night from 9-11pm. The talented local artist performs short acts that include Singers, Musicians, Aerialists, Burlesque, Drag, Dance, Comedy, Improve, Juggling, Mime and so much more. At the end of the night, the crowd votes on their favorite act to win a $100 prize. Most weekends the stages have acts performing. Check out Can Can Wonderlands events page to get a full listing.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Their whimsical nature seeps into their food and drinks offerings. Including a full bar with drink titles like: Strip & Go Naked, Brain Freeze in the Afternoon, and Green Way Garden Punch they’ll have something for everyone. They also have Old Fashioned Sodas for the younger visitors. Made from Scratch Pizza, mouth-watering Sundays and every kind of Hot Dog style imaginable.
Tips for Visiting Can Can Wonderland
- Golfing with young kids is challenging. If they are under five, don’t even bother trying to golf yourself, just help them.
- Plan to be there for a couple hours. It will take you a good hour to get through the golf course and you want extra time to play at the arcade.
- This would make for a great venue for Parties, Get Together or other Events… hint hint.
- Thing about coming at night and watching a show.
- Don’t forget the food! There is so much that you’ll want to try out.
- If you want to get some practice in before you go, pick up a copy of The Miniature Book of Miniature Golf on Amazon!
Mini Golf Rates:

I had such a great time exploring Can Can Wonderland and I’m jonesing to get back again soon. I’m already trying to arrange a sitter so I can check it out the late night variety shows… I wonder if I can pull it off!
